VTC2020-Fall Award Winners

The Vehicular Technology Society is proud to announce that the award for the IEEE VTC2020-Spring Best Conference Paper was presented to Bo Qian, Haibo Zhou, Ting Ma, Kai Yu, Quan Yu, and Xuemin (Sherman) Shen for their paper titled ”Heterogeneous Multi-Operator Spectrum Sharing Architecture for Massive IoT Access with NOMA”.

This year the awards committee gave a Runner-Up award for Best Conference Paper to Zhihan Li, Cailian Chen, Yang Min, Jianping He, and Bo Yang for their paper titled “Dynamic Hidden Markov Model for Metropolitan Traffic Flow Prediction”.

The IEEE VTC2020-Spring Technical Program Committee also presented the Best Student Paper Award to Ehsan Emad Marvasti, Arash Raftari, Yaser Pourmohammadi Fallah, Rui Guo, and Hongsheng Lu for their paper titled ”Cooperative LIFAR Object Detection via Feature Sharing in Deep Networks.”

This year the awards committee gave a Runner-Up award for Best Student Paper to Zepeng Zhu, Jiajia Liu, Jiadai Wang, and Nei Kato for their paper titled “Edge-Cloud Based Vehicle SLAM for Autonomous Indoor Map Updating.”

These papers were chosen for awards due to the excellent and novel work by the authors.  Awards were presented during the virtual conference which was held virtually 18 November through 16 December 2020.  Congratulations to the winners!
