VTC2020-Spring Award Winners
The Vehicular Technology Society is proud to announce that the award for the IEEE VTC2020-Spring Best Conference Paper was presented to Luca Chiaraviglio and Giuseppe Bianchi, both from the Un-viersity of Rome Tor Vergata, Rome, Nicola Blefari-Melazzi, representing Consorzio Nazional Interu-niversitari per le Telecomunicazioni, Italy and Marco Fiore, from IMDEA Networks Institute, Madrid, Spain for their work on the paper titled “Will the Proliferation of 5G Base Stations Increase the Radio-Frequency ‘Pollution’?

The IEEE VTC2020-Spring Technical Program Committee also presented the Best Student Paper Award to Haijun Liao and Zhenyu Zhou, both from the North China Electric Power University, Bai Ai from Beijing Jiaotong Unviersity, and Mohsen Guizani representing Qatar University for their work on the paper titled “Learning-Based Energy-Efficent Channel Selection for Edge Computing-Empowered Cognitive Machine-to-Machine Communications.”
These papers were chosen for awards due to the excellent and novel work by the authors. Awards were presented during the virtual conference which was held virtually 25 May through 31 July 2020. Congratulations to the winners!
