Title: A Perspective of Mobility Management Innovation in Mega Satellite Constellation Era

Abstract: Mage satellite constellation (MSC) era will bring new visions for the future global seamless coverage and ubiquitous services. In order to guarantee the service continuity, considering the spatio-temporal characteristics of MSC, innovative mobility management techniques are necessary. To this end, this talk starts from the key mobility management challenges in the integrated mobility management architecture and the handover strategy in MSC. Some interesting findings among mobility management structure, network performance and satellite constellation scale are investigated. Finally, insights and guidelines on the design of handover strategy, constellation configuration, and satellite beams are obtained.
